Reed Bunting on the Blackthorn blossom, Powderham Marsh, Devon

Some birds just know exactly how to have their photo taken.

This little Reed Bunting not only chose to sit amongst the beautiful Blackthorn blossom, but also let me choose which was her best side!

This was the first real Spring day in early April with beautiful clear blue skies. Powderham Marsh is always stunning in the Spring and Summer as it is awash with wild flowers and blossom, so it was not a difficult decision where to go on such a beautiful day.

The Reed Bunting just made the day a whole lot more special for me.
